Everything you need to know about performance, safety, and audio dominance.
Is Killer Vibe safe to use? Will I get banned?
Absolutely safe. Killer Vibe is built on the Overwolf platform, which is officially Whitelisted by major game developers like Riot Games (Valorant, LoL) and Valve (CS2). We use authorized Real-Time Game Events API, meaning we do not hook into game memory or inject code. You are 100% compliant with TOS.
Does this affect my FPS or cause lag?
Zero perceptible impact. The app runs on a lightweight separate thread optimized for minimal CPU/RAM usage. Our event detection is passive, processing telemetry data sent by the game itself. We've stress-tested on low-end rigs to ensure your frame rates stay buttery smooth.
How do I get new sounds?
We are powered by Voicy, the world's largest soundboard community. You have instant access to over 500,000+ community-curated sound clips directly within the app. Search for memes, movie quotes, or SFX and sync them to your kill types in seconds.
Can I upload my own custom sounds?
Yes! Simply upload your custom clips to your personal Voicy account. Then, sync your Voicy account within Killer Vibe to instantly access and assign your own sounds to any game event.
Which games are currently supported?
We currently support full auto-trigger integration for: Valorant, League of Legends, Counter-Strike 2 (CS2), Dota 2, and Fortnite. Support for Rocket League and Apex Legends is currently in beta.
Can enemies hear my sounds?
Killer Vibe plays sounds through your output device (what YOU hear). To let teammates or enemies hear it, you must route your audio through a virtual microphone (like Voicemeeter) or use our upcoming 'Discord Bot' integration. By default, it's for your own immersion and streaming audience.
Why aren't my sounds playing?
Check these settings: 1) Verify the 'Master Volume' is up. 2) Ensure the event is toggled 'ON' with a sound assigned. 3) Check that the correct 'Output Device' is selected in the Killer Vibe settings.
Is Killer Vibe free?
Yes, the core experience is 100% Free. You get unlimited event triggers and full access to the Voicy library. We may introduce some premium features in the future, but the sound engine will always be free.
Does this work on Mac or Console?
Currently, Killer Vibe is exclusive to Windows PC because it relies on the Overwolf framework. Console support is structurally impossible due to platform restrictions, and Mac support is not currently on our roadmap.
Where can I request features?
Join our active Discord community! The developers hang out there daily. We actually prioritize our roadmap based on user voting in the #feature-requests channel.
